The Santa Express is a truly spectacular magical Christmas adventure on a very special Heritage Railway beginning at Stanhope Station, travelling through Weardale.

Your Festive adventure begins with a cup of hot chocolate and a cookie, at the station, before boarding the train.

A narrated Christmas story unfolds during the journey, with some familiar festive sing-a-longs, and some new Santa Express ones. Plus with immersive entertainment and bags of Christmas cheer all wrapped up in some good old Panto style family fun en-route.
Our train journey takes us to a secret location hidden deep in Weardale, where we’ll be joined by Santa Claus!
Plus, on our journey, an opportunity for your children to meet the big man himself & children receive an exclusive Santa Express gift from Santa too!
